Welcome to “Hello Darling”! Since moving to Charleston and branching out with the blog on my own, I’ve felt I needed a bit of a refresh. “Just Cuz Blog” didn’t really speak to me anymore and I was feeling in bit of a rut. Charleston has so much to offer and I’ve been meeting so many incredibly talented and creative people, I wanted a name that spoke more to my personality and allowed me possibilities to take the blog further. I hope y’all like the new name and look and I’m so excited for what’s ahead! And what better way to introduce the new blog than with my first photoshoot with a local Charleston photographer!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of wandering around downtown historic Charleston with the lovely Jennifer Collins. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she’s the sweetest person and has been such a great friend to a Charleston newbie like me! When thinking about an outfit to wear, I wanted something simple and classic so that my surroundings would really be the focus of the shoot. I ended up going with this lace Brooks Brothers shirt dress, which was the perfect little number for a hot Charleston morning. We stumbled across so many charming places that it was hard to choose which photos to actually post!
I’ll still be tweaking things over the next few weeks to get everything looking perfect for y’all, but hope you like the new look and can’t wait to share more adventures with you!
