When I found out J Crew was creating a new holiday on the eve of my birthday, I was ecstatic. When I found out it was a day to celebrate stripes, I was even more thrilled! To me, striped shirts are a closet staple and such a classic look. I’m embarrassed to say I have more striped items of clothing than I’d probably like to admit – oops? Stripes are the perfect go-to look – they never go out of style and are always comfortable. Plus, I always feel good and put together and it’s the easiest outfit to create!
