Things I’m Loving

Beach Towels

Living in Charleston, I’ve come to find myself getting many more opportunities to go to the beach than I did up in New York. Bringing a towel to the beach is definitely an essential and I just had to share a new-to-me brand of Turkish Towels I absolutely adore. Fair Seas Supply Co. use eco-friendly materials for their products and packaging and work with factories who provide good working conditions and fair wages. Not only that, but they recently came out with a “Charleston” collection of organic cotton Turkish towels, with names like “Wisteria Purple” and “Golden Pineapple”! I love that the towels are incredibly versatile and can be used as a typical towel, a sarong, or a scarf.

Beauty Products to Fight Humidity

If you live in the South, you know the struggle. Lately it’s been close to 100 degrees in Charleston with what feels like 100% humidity every day. I found Ashley’s go-to beauty products that have eased the pain of humidity incredibly helpful! Definitely worth a read!

Latest Bag Obsession

When I saw this striped tote on my friend Abby, it was love at first site! I knew the stripes were completely my style, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I also loved the quality and practicality of the tote! MZ Wallace pays great attention to detail, from high-quality materials to switchable straps and pockets, they make sure that each piece can be worn for years to come. After browsing through their website, they have such an amazing array of timeless styles and colors that I was honored when they asked me to become a brand ambassador! I also have a major crush on this tote!

Artwork

I recently discovered artist Britt Ford at Skinny Dip Charleston. I was drawn to her Charleston and Ginger Jar pieces specifically, and knew I needed a piece for my home. After chatting with her about what I was envisioning (she is just the sweetest!) I was blown away with the final creation. Each of her custom pieces start with a photograph or sketch and then goes through the embossing process with your customized color and texture preferences. I decided on two pieces – my childhood home in New York and my favorite door in Charleston. These are not only gorgeous works of art, but are incredibly meaningful to me and represent two of my favorite places. I know I will cherish these forever.

Lemons

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with everything “lemon” or citrus. It just reminds me so much of summer and it seems everyone else is jumping on this bandwagon too! I just ordered these lemon Soludos and this beautiful hand-beaded lemon clutch from Charleston Shoe Co and I definitely see more lemon purchases in my future!
