Gingham Dress / Hilary’s Blue Dress / Randi’s Floral Dress
To celebrate the launch of Draper James‘ latest spring arrivals, I got together with my besties Hilary from By Hilary Rose and Randi from Kay & Co to host a southern porch party complete with champagne, sweets and lots of laughs.
My lovely photographer and friend, Julie from Julie Livingston Photography, was kind enough to lend us her gorgeous porch as the setting for the party – that southern hospitality y’all! The set-up on the porch featured a bubbly bar with champagne, flowers, colorful pastel cupcakes, and my favorite color palette of blue and white.
As for the drink menu, I knew she wanted to incorporate something special from Reese’s new book, Whiskey in a Teacup and ultimately decided on Confetti Betty’s Champagne and Ginger Ale Cocktail. Everyone sipped on Reese’s mother’s cocktail recipe, enjoyed sweet treats from Sugar Bakery (a Charleston favorite) and gathered round for such a fun afternoon that none of us wanted the party to end!
